By on November 13, 2018

The CIRTL Network

What is teaching-as-research, and why does it matter to CIRTL? Attend our online event in two weeks to learn more about this unique approach to teaching, and to hear what Teaching-as-Research students are doing across the CIRTL Network.

Did you miss the chance to attend one of our fall events? This week’s resource spotlight shows you how you can catch an event after the fact.

Fall 2018 Online Drop-In Events

Events have live, real-time online sessions; event series include a handful of events that revolve around a unifying theme in STEM teaching and learning. Events run on a drop-in basis and do not require advance registration. Participants can attend as many or as few events as they like in a given series.

All-Network Teaching-as-Research Presentations

Wednesday, 11/28: 5-6:30PM ET / 4-5:30PM CT / 3-4:30PM MT / 2-3:30PM PT

Join us for CIRTL’s fall All-Network presentation session as dozens of TAR practitioners from across the nation share their teaching-as-research findings. Take this opportunity to learn more about Teaching-as-Research in general, and to learn about exciting work that others in the Network are doing.

Resource Spotlight: Viewing Past Events

CIRTL records all our online, drop-in events and, when possible, we share those recordings publicly. If you missed the chance to attend an event in real-time, there are two ways you can use our website to find available recordings.

Past Events
If you’re looking to see if a specific event has a recording available, log into your account on our website and go to the Past Events page to find the event you’re looking for. If a recording exists, it’ll show up in the “Event Materials and Links” sidebar; you won’t see this sidebar if you’re not logged in.

Resources
If you’re looking for any event recording we have, log into your account on our website and go to the Resources page. Filter the resource type by “Audio/Video/Media” to see a list of all the available recordings on our website.
