Learning Analytics Project Funding

Tomorrow, October 25th, there will be an information session for Teaching-as-Research project funding regarding Learning Analytics at UT Arlington. Dr. George Siemens and Dr. Pete Smith will be giving a information session on how learning anaylitics can improve student learning experiences. Participants will be able to work side-by-side with faculty to propose time-dependent interventions with students based on course metrics such as participation, attendance, assignment/exam grades and other benchmarks. If you are data driven, consider attending this information session. This is a great opportunity to work along side faculty and gain learning research experience.

The information session will be tomorrow, Wednesday October 25, from 3-5pm in 604 Nedderman Hall. There will be light refreshments available. If you would like to attend, please notify me, Christopher (christopher dot abrego at mavs dot uta dot edu) and register on the cirtl commons website.
