TAR and LC Grants Deadline this Thursday

Teaching-as-Research and Learning Community grant proposals can be submitted at TAR Grants Link and LC Grants Link. The following video explains TAR projects in a nut shell. Similarly, Learning Communities are explained here. If you have any questions regarding proposal submissions, please email Christopher (christopher dot abrego at mavs dot uta dot edu). Grant submissions for TAR and LC proposal are due by the end of the day August 31st.

CIRTL’s Fall Courses Open for Registration

CIRTL’s fall 2017 cross-Network courses are open for registration now through September 25! All our courses have enrollment caps, so registration does not guarantee enrollment. Anyone can register, but STEM/SBE grad students and postdocs from CIRTL institutions receive priority when a course exceeds its cap. You’ll need an account on our website to register, and we’ll refer to the institution, discipline, and role listed in your profile to help determine your registration priority.

Students who register by Monday, September 18 (our early bird deadline) will be notified of their enrollment status by September 20. Students who register after the 19th will be notified of their enrollment status by September 27.

An Introduction to Evidence-Based Undergraduate STEM Teaching
Runs Monday, October 2 through Friday, November 17
Learn about STEM teaching at your own pace through online video modules and discussion boards in this MOOC developed by CIRTL Network faculty. Registration will open in mid- to late August.
