Developing Effective Learning Communities – Introduction
On the 13th of October, we joined CIRTL central for a group viewing of the workshop “Developing Effective Learning Communities”. We were introduced to some of the different aspects of a learning community such as what is a learning community, what isn’t a learning community, examples of a learning community, and a frame work for a learning community. The homework that was given was to attend a local learning community, wither an research LC or a CIRTL LC, and give the positive aspects of it and how to improve it.
The next session will be October 27 from 1-2:30Pm in the Rady Room.
